Order and syntax

With One PDF, pages keep the order you typed. Picking thumbnails sorts them by page number. A page listed twice is included once.
Example
From a 40-page contract bundle you want to send only the cover (page 1) and the signature pages (38–40). Type 1, 38-40 and save as One PDF to get a 4-page contract-extract.pdf. Saving the same selection as One file per page gives contract-p01.pdf, contract-p38.pdf, contract-p39.pdf and contract-p40.pdf in a ZIP.
Things to know
- Only the chosen pages are copied into the new file, so nothing from the other pages ends up in it. Bookmarks are not carried over.
- Your original file is not changed.
- If you opened the PDF with a password, the extracted file is saved without one.
- To cut a whole document into chunks by size or range, Split PDF is easier.
FAQ
What is the difference between extracting and deleting pages?
The result can be the same; you just pick the opposite set. If you are keeping a few pages, extract them. If you are removing a few, Delete PDF Pages is faster.
Can I combine the extracted pages with another PDF?
Yes — add both to Merge PDF, which also lets you set page ranges per file.
Is my file uploaded?
No. Everything runs in your browser.
