How to use
- Drop all the PDFs you want to combine onto the box, or click to choose them. You can add more later.
- Set the order with the ↑ ↓ buttons. The file at the top comes first in the merged PDF.
- To include only some pages of a file, turn on Choose page ranges per file and type something like
1-3, 5. Leave a field empty to include the whole file. - Press Merge PDF and the download starts. The result is named after the first file with
-mergedadded.
Password-protected files show “Password needed” in the list; enter the password and they are merged like any other file.
Page range syntax
| Input | Meaning | Pages taken from a 10-page file |
|---|---|---|
| (empty) | All pages | 1–10 |
3 |
One page | 3 |
1-3, 7 |
A range plus a single page | 1, 2, 3, 7 |
8- |
Page 8 to the end | 8, 9, 10 |
5, 1-2 |
In the order typed | 5, 1, 2 |
A page listed twice is included once, and page numbers beyond the file’s length are flagged as errors.
Example
Combine a 2-page quote, a 1-page signed scan and pages 3–5 of a 20-page catalog: the result has 2 + 1 + 3 = 6 pages. As soon as you type 3-5 for the catalog, “Pages to merge” in the summary changes to 6.
Things to know
- Pages are copied into a new file, so bookmarks are not carried over and form fields may stop working.
- Files you unlocked with a password are saved without a password in the merged PDF.
- To fine-tune the order afterwards use Organize PDF Pages; to renumber the combined document use Add Page Numbers to PDF.
FAQ
How many files can I merge?
There is no file count limit. Each file can be up to 300 MB, and since everything runs in your device’s memory, merging several very large files can be slow on a phone.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Reading and merging happen entirely in your browser; nothing is sent anywhere.
I need to do the opposite.
Use Split PDF or Extract PDF Pages.
