Delete PDF Pages

Remove unwanted pages and save the rest as a new PDF.

Runs in your browser · No upload Works offline

How to use

  1. Drop a PDF onto the box or click to choose it.
  2. Choose the pages to delete by typing page numbers (for example 2, 5-7) or clicking thumbnails. The two stay in sync: clicking a thumbnail updates the text field, and editing the field updates the thumbnails.
  3. Pages marked for deletion are dimmed with a red X, and the summary shows how many pages will be deleted and how many remain.
  4. Press Delete and save to download a PDF made of the remaining pages.

Shift-click selects (or clears) every page between the last one you clicked and the current one.

Page number syntax

Input Meaning
3 Page 3
2, 5-7 Page 2 and pages 5, 6, 7
10- Page 10 to the last page
-2 Pages 1 and 2

Spaces are ignored. If a number is beyond the last page, the field turns red and the save button is disabled.

Example

To send a 25-page slide deck without the internal notes on page 3 and the appendix on pages 21–25, type 3, 21-. The summary shows 6 pages to delete and 19 pages left, and the saved file contains pages 1, 2, 4…20 in their original order.

Things to know

  • Only the pages you keep are copied into the new file, so the deleted pages’ content is not inside the result. Bookmarks are not carried over.
  • At least one page has to remain.
  • A PDF you opened with a password is saved without the password.
  • If picking the pages to keep is quicker, use Extract PDF Pages; to change the order as well, use Organize PDF Pages.

FAQ

Is my original file changed?

No. The original stays as it is and you download a new file named original-edited.pdf.

Can I keep the deleted pages as a separate file?

Enter the same range in Extract PDF Pages to save just those pages.

Is my file uploaded?

No. Thumbnails and saving both happen in your browser.
