How to use
- The page opens with live clocks for New York, Los Angeles, London, Paris, Tokyo, Seoul, Sydney and Dubai, updated every second.
- Pick a city under Add a city to append it, and use the ✕ on a card to remove one. Your list is saved in this browser, so it is still there next time.
- Copy times copies every city’s date, time and UTC offset in one go — handy for pasting into an email or chat.
What each card shows
| Item | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Date and weekday | The local date there, marked “Tomorrow” or “Yesterday” when it differs from yours |
| UTC−4 | Offset from Coordinated Universal Time. Some zones use half or quarter hours, such as India (UTC+5:30) and Nepal (UTC+5:45) |
| EDT, BST, JST… | The common abbreviation for that zone |
| DST | Shown while daylight saving time is in effect |
| Morning / Evening | A rough time-of-day hint (6 AM–6 PM counts as daytime) |
| Ahead / behind you | How far that city is from your device’s time zone |
Example: noon in New York
| City | Oct 5, 2026 | Jan 15, 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| Los Angeles | 9:00 AM (PDT) | 9:00 AM (PST) |
| London | 5:00 PM (BST) | 5:00 PM (GMT) |
| Paris | 6:00 PM (CEST) | 6:00 PM (CET) |
| Dubai | 8:00 PM | 9:00 PM |
| Tokyo / Seoul | 1:00 AM next day | 2:00 AM next day |
| Sydney | 3:00 AM next day (AEDT) | 4:00 AM next day (AEDT) |
Because the US and Europe switch to daylight saving time, gaps to cities that do not — Dubai, Tokyo, Seoul — change by an hour during the year.
When daylight saving time applies
- United States and Canada: second Sunday in March to first Sunday in November (most of Arizona and Hawaii do not observe it)
- European Union and United Kingdom: last Sunday in March to last Sunday in October
- South-eastern Australia (Sydney, Melbourne): first Sunday in October to first Sunday in April (Brisbane and Perth do not observe it)
- New Zealand: last Sunday in September to first Sunday in April
FAQ
Where does the time come from?
From your device’s clock combined with the time zone data built into your browser. Nothing is fetched from a server, so if your device clock is wrong, the clocks here will be too.
How do I compare just two cities?
The time difference calculator shows how many hours apart two cities are, with an hour-by-hour table. To convert a specific time, use the time zone converter; to find a slot that suits everyone, try the meeting planner.
