How to use
- Drop a PDF onto the box or click to choose it. Each page appears as a thumbnail.
- Change the order in any of three ways:
- The ← → buttons under a thumbnail move it one step (keyboard friendly)
- Drag thumbnails with a mouse
- Type an order such as
3, 1, 2in New order and press Enter or Apply
- Reverse order flips the whole document; Original order puts everything back.
- Press Save in new order and the download starts.
Moving thumbnails also updates the New order field, so you can read or copy the current order as text.
New order syntax
| Input (5-page document) | Result |
|---|---|
3, 1, 2 |
3, 1, 2, 4, 5 — pages 4 and 5 go to the end |
5-1 |
5, 4, 3, 2, 1 — reversed |
2-5, 1 |
2, 3, 4, 5, 1 — cover moved to the back |
1, 1, 2 |
Error — a page cannot appear twice |
Spaces work as separators too. This tool does not drop or duplicate pages: every page appears exactly once.
Example
A 30-page document scanned from the back comes out in reverse — one click on Reverse order fixes it. To move the appendix (pages 27–30) in front of the main text, type 27-30, 1-26 and apply.
Things to know
- Pages are copied into a new file in the new order, so bookmarks are not carried over. The title and author are kept.
- A PDF you opened with a password is saved without the password.
- To rotate, delete or insert blank pages at the same time, use Organize PDF Pages.
