Integers from 1 to 100, generated with crypto.getRandomValues()

How to use

  1. Set the min and max, then how many numbers you want. A fresh draw appears as soon as you change anything.
  2. Turn on No repeats when every number must be different — for raffles, draws or deciding an order.
  3. Choose Decimals to get numbers like 0.37, and set how many decimal places. Results can stay in drawn order or be sorted.
  4. Generate again draws a new set with the same settings; the copy button grabs the result, separated by new lines, commas or spaces.

How the numbers stay fair

Step Method
Random source crypto.getRandomValues(), the browser’s cryptographic generator also used for passwords
Fitting the range Plain remainder arithmetic slightly favors low numbers, so values from the leftover zone are thrown away and redrawn (rejection sampling)
No repeats Robert Floyd’s sampling algorithm picks distinct numbers, then a Fisher–Yates shuffle randomizes their order
Decimals With two places, every value from 0.00 to 1.00 has exactly the same chance, because the draw is made on whole hundredths

Examples

  • 1 to 6, one number — the same as rolling a die; each face has a 1 in 6 chance.
  • 1 to 100, one number — a classic “pick a number” for games and giveaways.
  • 1 to 30, 30 numbers, no repeats — a random order for presentations or seating.
  • 0 to 1 with two decimal places — one of 101 equally likely values.

Things to keep in mind

  • If the range ends don’t match the decimal places you chose, the range is narrowed inward. For example, integers between 1.5 and 4.5 come from 2 to 4.
  • For prize draws that need proof, take a screenshot of the result — nothing is saved.
  • To roll several dice and see totals, use the dice roller. For secure passwords, use the password generator.

FAQ

Is it a bug if the same number shows up twice in a row?

No. Without No repeats, each number is drawn independently, so repeats happen. Drawing from 1 to 10, the chance the next number matches the previous one is 10%.

How many numbers can I generate at once?

Up to 10,000. With no repeats, you cannot draw more numbers than the range contains.

Are the numbers sent anywhere?

No. They are generated in your browser on this device and never sent or stored.
